Worked with Public Health Department of Maharashtra from 1977 – 1997 as Principal Of Public Health Institute Nagpur.

Worked as Regional Training Manager for INTRAH-PRIME – A WHO Collaborating centre for Asia and Near East 14 Countries & awarded WHO Fellowship on use of traditional medicine in Primary Health Care.

Worked as ICS (International Civil Services) Officer with UNFPA, United Nations Population Fund for 18 years & took projects in more than 50 countries.
